TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL OF MONMOUTHSHIRE COTTAGE
Bookings
a) The online reservation should be completed and returned together with a 20% deposit to Helen Kenneally. The
deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of your rental. Deposits are not returnable.
b) The balance of the cost of your rental must be paid preferably before, but certainly no later than immediately upon
your arrival.
c) Should it be necessary for the owner to make a change in your rental arrangements before your date of
departure, you will be offered the choice of either alternative dates or a refund of
any un-expired rental period.
d) During occupation of Monmouthshire Cottage you will be expected to assume all reasonable responsibility for the
safety and security of the property and occupants.
e) Any malfunction of the property, furniture or fittings will be dealt with immediately it is reported.
f) Unless previously agreed by the owner, use of the property for parties or any other multi person activity
is strictly prohibited. Any unreasonable breaches will result in immediate eviction from the property,
without refund of any un-expired rental period. Further, the owners reserve the right to recover, by
whatever means they see fit, the full costs and expenses incurred by them as a result of any such misuse.
g) The owners reserve the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any person whose
conduct is reasonably considered seriously detrimental to Monmouthshire Cottage &/or the local environment.
Bedding/Linen
h) The owner provides all linen (sheets, pillowcases, duvet-covers, hand towel, and Bath towel.
Rubber bed under-sheets or childs bedding must be supplied by visitors. Bedding, pillows and seat cushions must not be used outside the accommodation.
Arrival
Take-over of Monmouthshire Cottage can be flexible but only by agreement with the owner. Generally change over is around 2 pm
Departure
As a general rule 11am is the latest time to vacate Monmouthshire Cottage unless otherwise agreed with the owner.
Cancellation
Subject to the owner’s discretion, unless notice in writing of cancellation of reservation is received by the
owner not less than 28 days prior to the commencement of the reservation period, you may be liable for up
to the full amount due in respect of the reservation.
Damage to the Accommodation or Equipment
Must be reported to the owner at once and replaced or repaired to both parties mutual satisfaction before you leave.
The owner reserves the right to recover, by whatever means they see fit, the full costs and expenses for the repair or
replacement of any item/s found to have gone missing or wilfully damaged during your period of occupancy.
Liability for Personal Injury or for Property
The owner of Craigo Barn shall not be liable to any visitor or guest (including those under the age of 18) for
any personal injury, loss or damage to property, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, etc., howsoever
caused or sustained.
Visitors
Your friends or relatives are very welcome to visit you during your stay at Monmouthshire Cottage.
Dogs
Guest’s dogs and other pets are allowed only by prior agreement of the owner of Monmouthshire Cottage.
